Mika Letimaki

About

Mika Letimaki has 12 years of experience in cross-border financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions in the Baltics and Russia. During his career Mika has mainly represented foreign clients in complex financial transactions, M&A transactions in Finland. Mr. Letimaki's extensive experience in legal practice, combined with many years of practice, has allowed him to form a professional vision of the requirements of international clients, as well as an understanding of the law and market practice of England and the United States of America.

The most significant projects of Mr. Letimaki in the recent period include public-private partnership transactions, restructuring transactions, complex transactions on credit issues. Mika spent a significant amount of time doing research at the University of Oxford, becoming co-leader of the Oxford University research team in financial law.

Over the past years, Mr. Letimaki has lectured and published papers on restructuring and financial law. Mika also lectures on a full-time basis for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on finance law, relations with lenders, mergers and acquisitions, in addition, is the author of numerous scientific articles on finance law in England and Finland. He is recognized by leading legal rankings Chambers Global, Chambers Europe and IFLR1000 as a leading lawyer in the field of banking and finance in Finland.

Jan Lindberg is one of Finland's renowned experts in M&A, private equity and venture capital, technology and intellectual property.
