BANI (Indonesia National Board of Arbitration) is an arbitration institution providing a wide range of services for arbitration, mediation and other forms of dispute resolution.
Time for the proceedings: no more than 180 days from the date of the formation of the full composition of arbitrators. In particularly difficult cases, the period may be extended.
Arbitral Tribunal: The dispute may be tried by a sole arbitrator or by a panel of three arbitrators.
Registration fee: 115 EURO, the amount of the arbitration costs depends on the value of the claim and includes the administrative fee, the costs of the examination and the fees of the arbitrators. The costs of summoning witnesses, invited experts, travel and accommodation costs of an arbitrator who lives far from the place of the tribunal, costs of the venue of the hearing (if the party requires a different place to be appointed), and costs of filing a decision with a state court are paid separately.
BANI has existed since 1977 and has experience in dispute resolution in various areas of trade, industry and finance. The rules of the proceedings are quite simple, the parties can invite their own arbitrators, including foreign ones.
