From March 1, 2023, amendments to the Federal Law of July 27, 2006 No. 152- “On Personal Data” come into force.
The amendments include a ban on provision the information about the owners in the Extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate (the "EGRN").
Not all information will be closed, but only personal data (the full name and the date of birth).
It will be possible to get the information from the EGRN after obtaining the consent of the owner of the property.
There are a number of exemptions from the ban. The full Extract will be available for spouses, cadastral engineers, law enforcement officials, and members of the judiciary.
