On August 27, 2013, Alexander Nadmitov and Sergey Lapin, partners of Nadmitov, Ivanov & Partners law firm, spoke at a seminar in Helsinki, Finland, organized by our associated Finnish law firm Trust, on cross-border corporate and financial transactions.
Alexander in his report “Review of the Russian M&A market in 2013” noted the latest trends and prospects for the development of the Russian M&A market, and also highlighted the legal aspects of cross-border corporate transactions in the Russian Federation.
Sergei Lapin, partner of Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners, presented to a wide range of Finnish entrepreneurs his report on Russia's accession to the WTO and the consequences of this important step for trade relations between the two states. In particular, Mr. Lapin highlighted the new opportunities that are opening up for Finnish companies in connection with Russia's accession to the WTO.
