On 1 September 2023, the order of the Government of Russia came into force, which approved the list of objects allowed for construction in the territories of national parks.
The list of objects includes buildings of hotels, hotels, rest houses, camps, recreation centers, modular non-capital accommodation facilities (glampings, campsites), buildings of information centers (visit centers), museums, objects for sanatorium treatment, medical rehabilitation. Buildings should have no more than three above-ground floors, and their height should not exceed 15 meters.
The list also included structures to ensure safety and facilitate the movement of people over difficult terrain, as well as through water, ice and snow barriers (suspension bridges, drag lifts, cable cars, crossings); elements of landscaping, including small architectural forms (arches, gazebos, rotundas, pergolas, trellises, awnings, ramps, parapets, stairs, footbridges, tree trunks, decking, fences and railings, benches, monumental and park sculpture, urns, information boards and stands, architectural and landscape objects).
It is also allowed to build showers, toilets, playgrounds and sports grounds, food facilities, piers, boat moorings, medical aid stations, eco-trails, demonstration enclosures, transport and engineering infrastructure facilities. It is allowed to build non-stationary objects (tents, kiosks, pavilions, trays).
