Nadmitov, Ivanov & Partners Law Firm successfully represented the interests of the energy company as the defendant in a court case brought by an oil refining company in the Arbitrazh Court of the North-Western District to recover damages in the amount of 13 million rubles, related to the disconnection of the plaintiff's technological equipment due to an accident.
The cassation court accepted our arguments that the main reason for the stoppage of the technological process (part of the equipment) and as a result, the formation of losses, was solely due to the incorrect operation of the electric network equipment of the oil refining company and its unlawful actions/inactions. As a result of the consideration of the oil refining company's cassation complaint, the decision of the court of first instance and the ruling of the appeal were upheld without changes.
