Law Firm Nadmitov, Ivanov & Partners provided free pro bono legal support in the creation of a foundation for the Teacher for Russia school education program. The project is analogous to the international TeachForAll program, which successfully operates in 35 countries around the world.
The project is a fully paid two-year leadership development program for outstanding university graduates and young professionals, offering to become educators and subsequently part of a community that systematically affects the education sector in Russia. The organizers of the project select 20 applicants who will be trained at the preparatory institute of the program and will start teaching in secondary schools from September 2015. The pilot project will be tested at schools in the Moscow region. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have the choice to pursue a career in education, or from program sponsors.
The main partners of the project in Russia are The Boston Consulting Group and Sberbank. Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners provided legal assistance to the project. The program is being developed with expert support from the HSE Institute of Education.
