Nadmitov, Ivanov & Partners Law Firm LLC is pleased to announce the launch of the Chinese practice and the appointment of Mr. Yu Qiang as its head. Mr. Yu is an experienced expert in China's intellectual property law and antitrust law.
Yu Qiang earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Law in China, followed by his PhD in Law from the European Institute of Leiden University. Currently, Mr. Yu Qiang is also a Research Fellow at the HSE-Skolkovo Institute of Law and Development, and also teaches at the Faculty of Law at Sun Yatsen University.
Mr. Yu Qian will be assisted by Yekaterina Gerasimova as Deputy Head of the Chinese Practice. Ekaterina graduated from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing and previously held the position of Deputy Head of the Legal Department of UGL Corporation Limited. In particular, Ekaterina provided support to clients on all aspects of setting up and running a business in China, including advice on foreign investment, joint ventures, taxation and dispute resolution. Ekaterina is fluent in English, Chinese and Russian.
