A law has been passed prohibiting citizens subject to military registration from leaving Russia from the day they are sent a summons at their place of work or study. In addition, it is forbidden to leave Russia from the day when the summons is placed in the register of service of summonses.
Previously, the ban on leaving Russia was in effect from the moment when the summons was considered served.
The law also clarifies the procedure for transferring information about citizens who are required to be registered with the military. Regional authorities will transfer information about the health of conscripts to the Ministry of Health, which will then transfer the information to the register. A similar procedure for the transfer of information will apply to educational institutions that send information to regional authorities for further transfer to Rospotrebnadzor.
Those who receive the summons electronically are sent a notification that if they fail to appear at the military registration and enlistment office within 20 days, temporary restrictive measures will be applied to them. The notification is generated in the military registration register in automatic mode.
