Activity of collectors aimed at returning overdue debts of individuals and associated with the threat of violence or the destruction or damage of property, as well as the threat of spreading or disseminating knowingly false information that discredits the honor and dignity of the victim or his relatives, will be punished criminally.
Punishment - imprisonment for up to 5 years with or without deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to 3 years.
If these acts are committed on a large scale, by a group of persons by prior agreement, with the use of violence that is not dangerous to life or health, with the destruction or damage to property, then the offender is threatened with imprisonment for up to 7 years.
If the acts are committed by an organized group, with the use of violence dangerous to life or health, or on an especially large scale, they can be imprisoned for a term of 5 to 10 years.
