A new method has been adopted for determining the standard for the accumulation of municipal solid waste (MSW) without measurements - based on a comparative analysis using coefficient values approved by the government.
The standard for the accumulation of municipal solid waste is the average amount of MSW generated per unit of time. With their help, it is determined how much citizens will have to pay for the removal and disposal of such waste.
MSW accumulation standards for various categories of service consumers are proposed to be determined by the method of comparative analysis in accordance with the level of waste generation in apartment buildings, as well as the share of bulky waste in the total composition of municipal solid waste.
