On November 11, 2015, Maxim Bashkatov, Advisor to the law firm Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners, spoke at the X International Conference “Russian Derivatives Market”, which was held in Moscow. The conference was organized by the National Securities Market Association (NFA).
The main topics of speeches and discussions were devoted to the basic problems of the functioning and development of the Russian derivatives market in the context of the ongoing sanctions. Maxim Bashkatov made a presentation on the civil structure of the transfer of OTC derivatives to a central counterparty in Russia.
The conference was also attended by about 250 representatives of regulators, professional participants and independent experts, in particular, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia Sergey Shvetsov and Chairman of the Board of the Moscow Exchange Alexander Afanasyev.
