Rospotrebnadzor has abolished the provisions of Resolution No. 7 of March 18, 2020 "On Ensuring the Isolation Regime to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19", which obliged Russian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons to fill out an arrival questionnaire before arriving in Russia.

However, territorial bodies of Rospotrebnadzor will continue to conduct random testing for COVID-19 for passengers arriving from countries where the epidemiological situation is deteriorating. Previously, such testing could be carried out on flights from any country.

The mandatory questionnaire requirements were in effect from March 2020. The World Health Organization terminated the global pandemic status of COVID-19 in May 2023, and Rospotrebnadzor reported that only 17 cases of the coronavirus have been registered in Russia since April 2023.
