The Government of the Russian Federation has introduced amendments to the Rules for settlement of accounts between residents and non-residents in cash.
Pursuant to the amendments, as of 29 June 2023 residents are entitled to sell cash currency received from non-residents under foreign trade agreements or loan agreements to an authorized bank with subsequent crediting of received funds to an account opened with such an authorized bank.
