Law Firm Nadmitov, Ivanov & Partners sponsored the Second International Competition "Model WTO 2014", held at the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade (ARTA). The competition is a competition between teams of universities in the field of WTO law and the skills of its application based on situational tasks - practical cases ("cases") concerning the resolution of disputes within the WTO.
A number of well-known Russian scientists and practicing lawyers specializing in WTO law were included in the Panel of Judges of the Competition: V.M. Shumilov, A.S. Smbatyan, N. Mizulin, as well as partner of Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners, Sergey Lapin. According to the results of the face-to-face stage of the competition, the team of the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University was declared the winner, the second place was taken by the team of VAVT. The contribution of partners Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners was marked with certificates of honor from the rector of the Russian Academy of Aviation Technologies
Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners are actively promoting the practice of the WTO, the partners of the firm are involved in academic work, and also comment on topical issues of WTO law in the press. The firm also supports non-commercial WTO projects such as the WTO Law website (wtolaw.ru) and the Model WTO student competition sponsored by the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade.
