On April 10, 2014, Sergey Lapin, partner of Nadmitov, Ivanov & Partners, took part in a round table dedicated to the international legal aspects of the annexation of Crimea to Russia. The round table was organized by the Faculty of International Law of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry in cooperation with the Russian Association of International Law and the International Legal Club. It was attended by representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russian and foreign academic science, as well as a number of representatives of Russian business. During the event, Sergei made a presentation on the legal consequences of the possible application of international economic sanctions for Russian companies in connection with the annexation of Crimea to Russia. The report aroused interest and a lively response from the public, which asked Sergei a number of questions.
