14 January
- Starting 18 January 2021, students in elementary through high school will return to school and begin their studies as usual;
- All other restrictions (recommendations relating to home quarantine for people 65+, remote work for 30% of staff, prohibitions for restaurants and clubs to work at night, restrictions on visiting cultural, exhibition, educational events, including museums and exhibition halls, remote studies in city universities and colleges, institutions of additional education and sports schools) remain in force until 21 January 2021.
11 January
- The temporary restriction on the entry of foreign citizens and stateless persons into the Russian Federation, introduced by the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 16 March 2020 N 635-r, no longer applies to persons traveling to the Russian Federation through air checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation for the purpose of transfer, provided presentation of an identity document and a visa or in a visa-free manner.
- Highly qualified specialists entering the Russian Federation once for work are no longer required to present an employment contract / civil law contract when entering the Russian Federation.
