Nadmitov, Ivanov & Partners has published a brief video interview with Andrey Minyaev, partner of the firm, presenting the firm's Agribusiness, Environmental Law and Real Estate practices.
Andrey Minyaev talks about the firm's new practices: (1) Environmental and land law practice of the firm, including securing and protecting the interests of the firm's clients in the field of environmental protection and use of natural resources, (2) Agro-industrial, fishery and forestry complex, (3) Real Estate and Urban Planning. Andrei's interests also include sports law matters.
Andrei has over 20 years of experience in executive positions in both law enforcement and rule-making (draft legislation). He headed the legal departments of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Ministry of Sport of Russia, as well as the Russian Environmental Operator. He was an advisor and deputy head of Rosreestr.
Furthermore, he holds a degree of Candidate of Legal Sciences and the class rank of State Counselor 2nd Class (Presidential Decree No. 16 of January 19, 2015).
For over 15 years he has been engaged in scientific and teaching activities at Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow State Law Academy, Higher School of Economics, where he gave lectures and conducted practical classes on environmental and land law.
Author of a number of scientific works on environmental and land law, including the monograph "Environmental Law: Constitutional Foundations", textbooks and workshops, compiler of the collection of normative legal acts "Environmental Law of Russia", as well as collections of scientific papers; member of the working group of the Committee on Natural Resources and Nature Management of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on the preparation of the draft Forest Code of the Russian Federation; member of the Expert Council of the Committee on Land Relations and Construction; member of the Expert Council of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on the preparation of the draft Forest Code of the Russian Federation. He was also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency Association (RUSADA).
