Andrey Minyaev - a new partner of the firm
General information
Andrey Minyaev has become a new partner of the firm. He is the head of the firm's Environmental and Land Law practice, including ensuring and protecting the firm's clients' interests in the field of environmental protection and natural resource use, agro-industrial, fishery and forestry complexes, as well as real estate and urban planning. Andrey is also interested in Sports Law.
He has over 20 years of experience in managerial positions in practical and normative (draft law) activities. He has led legal departments of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, the Ministry of Sports of Russia, as well as the Russian Environmental Operator. He was an adviser and deputy head of Rosreestr.
He has a PhD in Law, a second-class state councilor rank (Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 19, 2015 No. 16).
For over 15 years, he has been engaged in scientific and teaching activities at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Moscow State Law Academy, the Higher School of Economics, where he gave lectures and classes on Environmental and Land Law.
He is the author of a number of scientific papers on Environmental and Land Law, including the monograph "Environmental Law: Constitutional Foundations", textbooks and workshops, editor of the collection of regulatory legal acts "Environmental Law of Russia", as well as collections of scientific papers. He is a member of the working group of the Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Management of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for the preparation of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation; a member of the Expert Council under the Committee on Land Relations and Construction of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
He was also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA).
