Managing partner of the Nadmitov, Ivanov and Partners Law Firm Alexander Nadmitov gave comments to RBC about the measures that residents of an apartment building can take when the water is cut off due to the debts of neighbors.
This question arose in connection with the disconnection of hot water MOEK in an apartment building due to debts of the management company "PIK-Comfort". Alexander Nadmitov canceled the illegality of such actions in relation to bona fide tenants-payer and actions that they can take to restore their rights, including: appeal to the FAS, the prosecutor's office and the housing inspection, as well as the recovery of compensation for moral damage from the management company.
